This image was created as a self-promo piece aimed at art directors getting back to the daily grind after the end of the summer vacation season.
Using Vue Complete software, the 3D type is all the same size and same altitude and reduces in size by perspective. The type color is created by the sunlight on its semi-transparent glass bubble surface. The ground and plateaus are one infinite procedural terrain. Big cumulus clouds were added to the thin cirrus clouds and dialed back to 55% coverage. A brass surface was added to the gears and face of the clock. The same glass surface on the type was added to the dial behind the Roman numerals.
